Std Puppies available

The lady who bred Spirit, Su Eld Weaver, currently has puppies available. If Spirit is anything to go by they will be fantastic dogs. As far as I am aware she currently has 2 slightly older silver/blue pups available,  who are from hip scored parents, they are beautiful well grown pups that have been brought up in the home. They are very reasonably priced.
She also has a litter that is not quite ready yet, this consists of blacks and whites, male and female and if you are quick enough, I believe there is one male phantom. There is also one silver brindle boy, but you may have to twist Su's arm a little to persuade her to let this stunner go. The father of these pups is the same dog that produced Dollars recent litter. I will hopefully have some photos to add in the next few days.
If you are interested in one of these beautifully bred babies please contact Su directly on 07970 511166, she is in Rushden, Northants.

The final countdown

After spending the last couple of weeks wondering if I was ever going to get a genuine enquiry for Dennis, he left this morning to start his new life in Surrey. Oddly on the day that he was reserved I had 5 further genuine sounding enquiries and a further 2 during this week and another 1 today!!
#
Jasper will be staying with us until his family come back from their holiday in a couple of weeks.

Miss T's kittens are now 9 weeks old and are having their 1st vaccinations tomorrow. Due to the pups, they have not had quite as much attention as I would have liked to give them, but they we will be making up for that over the next few weeks until they go to their new homes. They are lovely well grown kittens and all the boys have wonderful homes waiting for them. We are keeping the lilac and white girl as Miss G had to be spayed last month due to cystic ovaries. My daughter, in her wisdom, has declared that she will be called Belinda!

It is going to be a much quieter year for Itzapromise this year. I am not going to be having any std litters this year (hope to breed from Spirit next year and maybe Dollar will have her last litter) and I only plan to have one litter of toys, this will be from Dorothy my parti girl, she will hopefully be put to a parti factored boy which, all being well, should give us some parti pups.

Betty has done me proud, although her litters normally consisted of just one pup at a time, she has produced some fantastic toy pups. She has now had 4 litters and is booked in to be spayed next week. I have to say I will be sad to loose her as a breeding girl, as she is a superb mum and her pups were all real characters but more than that, as her pups were so small I haven't been able to keep one to breed from, so this marks the end of her line :-(. She is only 7 years old so I look forward to enjoying her company as one of my pets for many years to come.

Unfortunately my Dad is terminally ill, so updates over the next few weeks may be sporadic, but I will make sure to let you know of any matings/births (cats and Dorothy) that occur. I will also try to update the pups/kittens progress pages on my website with any photos that I receive, so please keep in touch :-)

A little request

Please if you are interested in one of my puppies or kittens, before you ask me to hold it for you, check with significant others that they are happy for you to have the animal, decide about potential holiday dates, if you make arrangements to come and view, and for whatever reason you can't make it, let me know so that I don't have to rush home and then wait around for you. If you change your mind, please don't lie to me.

I have been very fortunate in meeting some lovely people, many of whom are now friends, through my dogs and cats. Unfortunately in the last few months I have also had to deal with numerous idiots, a large amount of people with no basic manners and a few outright liars.

I invest a huge amount of time and energy in producing sound puppies and kittens, please don't waste my time and please don't promise an animal a home if you have no intention of honoring that promise. I try to be straight and fair with any one that makes an enquiry and would appreciate the same back.

I am not looking for sympathy or anything else, just to make people aware that, because of all the above reasons I still have my gorgeous Dennis looking for a home.

End of the line

It is with very mixed emotions that I write this. I have just waved goodbye to Fizzy. Fizzy was the Betty pup that I had waited years for (grandaughter of my 1st toy, Daphne), she is a very charismatic little girl who does everything at 100 mph, she is a stunning little girl and is probably show quality but, and it's a big but, she is tiny. Betty at 8" is a very small toy, Fizzy is smaller, and having thought long and hard about it I don't think it would be sensible to breed from her. Now much as I would love to have kept her as my pet, she is a very young dog and I feel that it would be nicer for her to find her a pet home where she can be center of attention.

So she has gone to live with a lovely couple and their 2 toy poodle boys where I just know she will be spoiled rotten :-), she will be spayed after she has her 1st season.

We have just 1 little boy still desperately wanting someone special to come and get him. Blue collar boy (or Dennis as I have started to call him) is a wonderful little pup, full of life and naughtiness. He is an intelligent lad and would benefit from an active home life, but once he is pooped he just wants to snuggle up with you. On a personal note, I have just learned that a close member of my family has a terminal illness and I could really do without an extra pup at the moment, so would be prepared to be a little flexible on the price should the right home present itself.

The Last 3

As the title suggests, there are just 3 of Audreys pups still available, 2 boys and a girl (though I do currently have interest in the girl and should know by Sunday if she has a home). I have bathed and clipped them today and taken some pictures., though I am a little disappointed with the photos as it makes their colour look washed out, which it most certainly isn't.
Blue collar boy is a rufty tufty lad, always in the middle of trouble and has an answer for everything, he will be a dog that would benefit from a home where his energies could be channeled into some form of activity, perhaps obedience or agility, or even just keeping him stimulated by teaching him tricks etc. He would love a busy family home.

Green collar boy(Mikey) is a lovely friendly lad, a little more sensitive than blue boy and I suspect he would enjoy being someones special pet. He is very affectionate and really enjoys human company. This little lad has now gone off to his new home in Oxfordshire.

Yellow collar girl is a sweetie, nothing troubles her, she is happy little soul and will make a lovely pet. She is smaller than her brothers. I am pleased to say that she now has a home waiting for her:)

All the pups are well socialised, happy and energetic, All are in excellent health and are enjoying life to the full. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit to see mum and her pups.
