Reunion?

It has been suggested, by more than one person, that it would be nice to have an Itzapromise reunion. I think this is a great idea and am starting to think about the logistics. This will be a canine reunion as, much as I would love to see the kittens, it would be far too stressful for cats.

I am very open to any suggestions that people may have, the location is likely to be local to me :-) and I am thinking that summer next year would be a good time. If you think you may be interested in this I would love to hear from you

New Addition and Audrey has her passport

I'll start with Audrey. Ever since her litter last year I have been looking for a suitable boy for her next litter, not that her pups with Wez (a fantastic red boy) weren't nice, they were gorgeous pups that I am very proud to have bred, but having spent hours trawling through the internet I have reached the conclusion that there are very few good quality apricot dogs that are both health tested and unrelated to Audrey and available at open stud, which made me feel that perhaps the right thing to do is find such a dog. I think I have, in Germany. So Audrey has her passport sorted and her bags packed in readiness for her coming into season, hopefully some time this month or next. It was only after I had got everything sorted for Audrey that I realised that my passport was out of date, hopefully my new one will arrive in time for our trip. I have to admit to being quite apprehensive about the trip as I don't speak a word of German (and the dogs owner speaks no English!) and I have never driven on the wrong side of the road, but I'm sure we will have a great time:-)

I would like to introduce Bob, Sybils Granddaughter. I have been wanting to keep a Sybil baby for the last couple of years, but for one reason or another it just hasn't worked out. This year Sybil has proved even more difficult to get pregnant. She has had numerous liaisons with Manuel and has also had a dirty weekend with the father of last years kittens, but no kittens, so when I was offered the chance of having Bountiful Kateshortforbob, from Gloria Byrnes, I jumped at it. She is another one who needs to have her name explained, though those familiar with the Blackadder series may have a head start here . Her Dad, Sybils son, is called Lord Flasheart, a character from Blackadder. Bob is a girl who wishes to work for Edmund Blackadder and in order to become his manservant disguises herself as a man, when asked her name she answers 'Kate' then quickly realising her mistake announces that it is Kate, short for Bob. Bob/Kate eventually runs off with Lord Flasheart leaving Edmund alone at the altar. As Sybils litter from last year was not fathered by Manuel, once she is old enough, Bob will be able to be mated to him.
Ironically about 24hrs before I collected Bob, Sybil pinked up (is pregnant)!! Kittens should arrive mid October.
