Polly has had her kittens

Yesterday morning Polly gave birth to 5 beautiful healthy kittens. At 1st glance we have 2 colourpoint (white) girls, 1 chocolate tabby/white girl, 1 pale blue girl and 1 dark blue boy. These are just a couple of quick snaps and snippet of video taken about an hour after the last kitten had arrived. As always, please contact me should you be interested in a kitten. Although I consider 5 to be a fair sized litter, it has become apparent that Polly wasn't the size she was purely because of the kittens she was carrying, she will be going on a diet as soon as the kittens are weaned :)

A few recent pics

All seems to be going well with Whoopi, she had her scans and this showed that her neck is now stable but she has a large lesion on the right hand side of her brain, this is what is affecting her left hand side coordination. Hopefully with time (and physio) her brain will rewire itself and her condition should continue to improve, but even if there were no further improvement I can happily say that her quality of life is good and she appears to be completely pain free. She is on quiet walks, with just Cash and Tiffany for company, for a couple more weeks, then she should be able to start going out with the pack again. I am going to be superfit by the end of her recuperation as the separate walks meant that last week I covered over 80 miles!!!

The kittens are 9 weeks old today, the go for their first vaccinations tomorrow. These babies are all booked but we hope to have more kittens in about a fortnight.
