Just kittens

Polly and Bernard are doing a grand job with their kittens and unlike us they have no 'social distancing' concerns and enjoy helping each other out with the feeding and cleaning tasks. Polly's kittens are 16 days old, Bernards are 8 days old.

Just like busses!

You wait for months and then two turn up together :) Bernard had her babies in the early hours of this morning, 2 red/white boys and what looks like a lilac torbie female, these kittens are not sired by Fawlty as my plan was to keep a girl back, they are sired by my a boy out of my foundation queen, Sybil, so that makes them very precious to me.

Polly's kittens are doing very well, all gaining weight at a rapid rate.

Kittens!!

Well, they arrived a week after I was expecting, but Polly has done a grand job delivering 6 strapping kittens in the space of just 2 hours this afternoon. I suspect she is very pleased she is no longer carrying them as she looked incredibly uncomfortable towards the end. I haven't had a chance to sex them yet but it looks like we have 2 colourpoints, 2 tabby and whites, 1 black and white and 1 chocolate. For those of you on facebook, there are videos of some of the kittens being born if you want to take a look. I will try and get them on here later. Please fill out a kitten application form if you think you may be interested in a kitten.

All the poodles were bathed and groomed on Monday, on Tuesday I just couldn't bring myself to take them to the mud swamp which was formerly fields, so I opted for a lead walk. Lead walking is something I very rarely do with my girls and this was the first time all 6 had been lead walked together, so I was pleasantly surprised with how well they walked, I wasn't so surprised by the attention we attracted when we got into town. As this was a new experience for them they were actually pretty tired on our return and settled for the rest of the day.

The next day we went to the beach, today we were back to the mud.
