Voodoo was mated to a beautiful lad, imported from Russia, at the beginning of the month, she will be scanned on Friday (2nd Feb) and I am hopeful that this will confirm that she is pregnant. I don't have any picture of the father at the moment but his owner says she will get some taken at Crufts in March.
We now seem to be back to mild, wet and muddy walks which is pretty miserable, but we made the most of the frosty days where all the dogs came home clean and we have had a few beach trips as I much prefer a bit of sand in the coats than mud up to the armpits!!
The cats have not been forgotten. Last May Fawlty had an implant to chemically castrate him, the hope was that it would stop him spraying in which case he would be surgically neutered and come and live indoors with us. Unfortunately it didn't have the desired effect, every time we brought him indoors he would spray after about 20 minutes, so he will continue to be an outside lad, though his heated and insulated cabin is toasty warm so he's not exactly suffering :)
Kenji is still entire so we are hoping to have a litter of kittens in the later part of this year once Fawlty's implant has worn off (I know I said we weren't having anymore but we are already missing having them causing chaos in the house!).
