Spirit is now 7 weeks pregnant and is starting to really fill out now, I suspect we are going to have more than 4, which is what she had last time. There is likely to be availability on this litter, so please contact me if you might be interested.
As usual, the webcam will be up and running to follow the birth and 1st few weeks of the puppies life.
This is going to be the last Itzapromise litter of puppies for a while as I have a few upcoming plans with my dogs that will be hard to fit in with litters of pups, so watch this space :)

I did not write this, but have permission to share, It was written by a friend of mine, Dr MJ Rawlings who is also a breeder of standard poodles and rare breed poultry. I fully agree with what she has written, it is a minefield for people looking for a puppy, hopefully this will help anyone looking to sort the wheat from the chaff.

We had a friend staying this week, complete with her 4 dogs and a puppy. The dogs had a super time and although the weather wasn't great we had some lovely walks. The cats on the other hand were less than impressed with the 4 legged visitors. Pictures below from a couple of our recent walks. Note that Spirits waistline has started to expand :) She is just about 5 weeks into her pregnancy now.
After years of nagging from various friends and acquaintances I have decided to offer my dog photography services to others, with an emphasis on outdoors action shots. Initially concentrating on shoots local to me, which can include the stunning backdrop of Dartmoor and some lovely beaches. Please contact me if you would like further details.
Finally, with the end of the year sneaking up on us, I still have a limited number of my beautiful A3 sized calendars available. They are £16.50 each, including p&p, and could make a wonderful gift or stocking filler.

I am pleased to announce that Spirit is pregnant, she has not been the easiest girl to get into whelp and has missed more times than she has taken, so this comes as a bit of a surprise and quite a relief. This will be her 3rd and final litter, we are expecting blacks, blues and creams.

After months of having a houseful of manic kittens, this week marks the departure of all of them. They have been an absolute tonic, I don't think I have managed to have even one evening relaxing in front of the tv as they just don't stop. If they're not racing around the house they are fighting for pole position on my lap, shoulders or boobs!! That said, it will be quite nice not having to constantly clean litter trays :)
