Spot the difference

This is by no means a dig at poodle crosses, though I choose not to be involved in their breeding. My friend Rosie has several poodle collie crosses (I might add that they are all lovely, from health tested parents and none cost her nearly as much as a well bred pedigree dog :-)  ) and she posted a picture of Disney after he had been groomed. So with her permission I have used this photo alongside one of Spirit, just groomed, to show the difference between the coat loss of a pure poodle compared to that of a poodle cross, just something worth bearing in mind if you are considering a cross for allergy reasons, most dogs do not moult until they are mature and if you are allergic it will be a heartbreaking decision if your dog that you have had from a puppy has to be re homed.
